The key differences between the Interphone F5XT and Interphone F5S are the ability of the F5XT to charge via a 2.5mm cable which is included in the kit. The F5XT does not include a wall charger, whereas the F5S includes a wall USB charger.

Also the F5S and F5 are not compatible with the F5XT firmware updater, however future upgrades will be released for both units.

The F5 and F5S are virtually identical although the F5S features detachable microphones and the F5 has the microphone attached to the left speaker.

Both options use a “ball and socket” mounting system that permits the phone to be rotated 360°, allowing a user to choose the exact screen orientation that works for them.  For example, users can rotate the screen to be horizontally oriented for optimum GPS functionality. The case can be tightened down securely in any position.

The tubular mounting kit option includes an adjustable two-piece rubber-lined clamp that allows the case to be mounted on handlebars with a diameter up to 1 1/4 inches. The non-tubular mount kit option includes an adjustable rubber strap that is applied along the inside of a belt that is equipped with finely spaced teeth, similar to a tie-down. The rubber strap protects the handlebars from scuff marks and offers the highest degree of stability on non-tubular applications. Both the tubular and non-tubular options incorporate a quick-release bracket base for rapid removal of the case from the mount so users can take their phone with them without removing it from the case.

NOTE: The Interphone case is not compatible with other Samsung Galaxy S3 protective cases, so users will have to remove any additional protective cases prior to placing their phone in the Interphone case.
